The rules for using Moose Calling 101, your responsibilities in the field, and the limits of our obligations.
Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing or using Moose Calling 101 (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Use of the Service
Eligibility : You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account and use the Service.
Account Responsibility : You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Permitted Use : The App is intended for personal, non commercial use related to moose hunting education, field logging, call practice and community engagement.
Prohibited Use : You agree not to:
Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of local hunting regulations
Upload content that is false, misleading, harassing, threatening or obscene
Impersonate another user or misrepresent your identity
Attempt to access another user’s account or private data
Use the App to distribute spam, malware or unauthorized advertising
Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the App
User Content
Ownership : You retain ownership of content you create and upload (hunt logs, photos, call recordings, posts, messages).
License : By sharing content publicly or within groups, you grant Moose Calling 101 a non exclusive, royalty free, worldwide license to display, distribute and reproduce that content within the Service for the purpose of operating and improving the platform.
Content Moderation : We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms, community guidelines, or applicable law. We are not obligated to monitor all user content but may do so at our discretion.
Call Recordings & Community Features
Call recordings shared with the community are visible to all users and may receive ratings and reviews. You acknowledge that shared recordings are public and that you are responsible for the content you share. You may delete your shared recordings at any time.
Location Data & GPS
Certain features including hunt logging, sighting pins and the interactive map use your device’s GPS. You may disable location access in your device settings, but some features may not function properly without it.
Subscriptions & Payments
If the App offers premium features through a subscription model, subscription terms, pricing and renewal policies will be clearly presented before purchase. You may manage or cancel your subscription through Settings > Subscription in the App.
Intellectual Property
The Moose Calling 101 name, logo, interface design, reference audio recordings and educational content are the intellectual property of Moose Calling 101. You may not copy, reproduce or distribute any part of the App without written permission.
Disclaimers
Hunting Safety : The App is an educational and organizational tool. It does not replace proper hunting safety training, local regulations compliance, or personal judgment in the field. Always follow local and national hunting laws and regulations.
Accuracy : Weather data, GPS coordinates and community shared sightings are provided for reference only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of this information.
Availability : We strive to maintain Service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The App may be temporarily unavailable during maintenance, updates or circumstances beyond our control.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Moose Calling 101 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App’s Settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Jurisdiction]. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of [Jurisdiction].
Termination
